The movie, "Django Unchained," has generated controversy. Many have called it terrible because of its violence and use of the N-word and because it 'portrays Black people as buffoons.' Carl Dix says this movie, with its depiction of the horrors of slavery and of violence wielded against those who enforced those horrors, is fine. Come out to Revolution Books for the discussion Carl will lead about this film.
